For class 1, registration is open until 5 pm on April 15, 2024. Students must meet the eligibility criteria to apply. For class 1, students should be at least six years old by March 31, 2024. KVS Admission 2024-25 Reservation Quotas
KVS has a reservation system for admissions. As per the rules, 15% of seats are reserved for SC students, 7.5% for ST students, and 27% for OBC students.
KVS Admission 2024: Class 1 to 12 Eligibility Criteria
Class 2 to 9 Admission:
- Students must have finished their previous class in a government-approved school.
- Students need to live near the Kendriya Vidyalaya.
- Priority is given to children of Central Government employees, defence personnel, and SC/ST/OBC categories.
Class 11 Admission:
- Admissions are based on Class 10th board exam marks.
- Seats in desired streams are allocated based on availability and Class 10th marks.
Special Considerations:
- Children with Special Needs (CwSN) are eligible for age relaxation and other accommodations.
- Required documents include birth certificates, previous academic records, and relevant certificates for reserved categories (if applicable).
