The admissions are divided into three cycles. Cycle 1 started on April 8 and ended on April 17. Cycle 2 will run from May 15 to June 15, and Cycle 3 from July 10 to July 31. Delhi Government School Admission Process 2024
Cycle 1 (April 8-17) is for early applicants, with school allotments announced on April 29.

Delhi Government School Admission Requirements
Personal Details: Child’s name, parents’ names, and home address.
Optional Info: Child’s Aadhaar Number/UID and bank details.
Required Documents: Child’s birth certificate, proof of Delhi residence, caste certificate (if applicable), and disability certificate (if needed).
Age Limit: As of March 31, 2024, the child should be within the following age ranges for each class:
- Class 6: 10-12 years
- Class 7: 11-13 years
- Class 8: 12-14 years
- Class 9: 13-15 years
