DA Calculation Sheet

DA Calculation Sheet: The Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Government Employees used to be calculated using the 2001 consumer price index. However, from September 2020, the government started using a new index based on 2016 prices to calculate the DA. This change was made to keep the DA calculation up-to-date with current market conditions.

DA Calculation Sheet 

7th Pay Commission

This is a chart helps you calculate the Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Government Employees. It’s based on the 7th Pay Commission rules. The chart has data from January 2016 to January 2024. It uses the All India Index to track inflation. The percentage increase column shows how much the DA has changed each month. The DA and DR orders are the official announcements of the new DA rates.
