The U.S. gives good perks to both retired and serving soldiers. They usually get paid on the 1st and 15th every month. But if those days are on a weekend or holiday, they might get their money a bit late.
USAA Pay Dates 2024:
The United Services Automobile Association (USAA) offers banking and insurance to military folks. If you’re in the military and have a USAA account, you get your money two days before payday. This way, you don’t have to worry about getting paid late because of weekends or holidays.

USAA Pay Dates for VA Disability:
USAA sticks to the same pay schedule as the VA disability benefits. This means that the pay dates for VA disability don’t change and are exactly as the Department of Veterans Affairs decides for VA Disability payments.
Delay in USAA Pay dates:
Throughout the year, there are times when soldiers and their families will have to wait longer between paychecks. It’s important to know this, especially if you’re planning a holiday or need to budget for something special.
Here are the long pay periods for 2024:
- Jan 10 to Jan 30: Wait 20 days for the next paycheck.
- Apr 11 to Apr 29: Wait 18 days for the next paycheck.
- Jul 11 to Jul 30: Wait 19 days for the next paycheck.
- Oct 10 to Oct 30: Wait 20 days for the next paycheck.
Knowing these dates helps you plan your spending until the next paycheck hits your account.
