UPPSC PCS Eligibility Criteria 2024
Educational Qualification: You need a Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by the UGC.
Age Limit: You should be between 21 and 40 years old.
Age Relaxation: If you from a reserved category like OBC, SC, ST, etc., you might get some relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules.
UPPSC PCS 2024 Selection Process
Preliminary Exam: You have two exams – one for general knowledge and another for skills. The first exam has 150 questions and is worth 200 points. The second exam is to check if you pass with at least a 33% score. Only the first exam’s score is used for moving to the Mains exam.
Mains Exam: This part has 8 tests on subjects like Hindi, Essay writing, and General Studies. Each test is 3 hours long. If you choose optional subjects, they have two tests each. Your total score from all tests decides if you get to the Interview.
Interview: This is a one-on-one chat worth 100 points. It covers general topics, school subjects, and getting to know you better.
