Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship:
- Indian citizens, and subjects of Nepal/Bhutan.
- Migrants from Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Eastern African Countries, and Vietnam.
Age Limit:
- Must be under 30 years old (age relaxation as per government norms).
Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed intermediate (12th grade) from a recognized board.
- Must possess stenography skills from a recognized institution.
Examination Pattern
Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- Total Questions: 200 (50 General Intelligence & Reasoning, 50 General Awareness, 100 English Language & Comprehension)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Marking: 1 mark per question, with a one-third mark penalty for wrong answers
Skill Test:
- 10 minutes of dictation in Hindi or English at regional offices
Application Fee
- General/OBC: ₹100
- SC/ST/Women/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: No fee
- Payment Method: Online only
