PSTET Eligibility 2024
The PSTET 2024 test has two papers.
Paper 1 is for those who want to teach grades 1-5. To apply, you need to:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have passed 12th grade with at least 45%
- Have a two-year elementary school diploma or a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education degree with at least 50%
Paper 2 is for those who want to teach grades 6-8. To apply, you need to:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a graduation degree
- Have a two-year elementary education diploma, a one-year B.Ed degree, or be in the final year of a four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. program
- Have at least 50% in Senior Secondary or graduation
- If you have a B.Ed degree approved by NCTE, you can also take the test
