Kerala SET Eligibility Criteria 2024
For the Kerala SET 2024, there no age limit. You need a Master’s degree with at least 50% marks or a B.Ed. degree from a recognized university. For some subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany, an M.Sc. Ed. with minimum 50% marks is required. Some subjects don’t need a B.Ed. degree. If you in the final year of your Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, you can also apply but you need to submit your final exam documents within a year of the results. If your degree is from a non-recognized university, you are not eligible.
Kerala SET Exam Date & Pattern 2024
Paper I: This is the same for all candidates. It has two parts – Part (A) tests general knowledge and Part (B) tests teaching skills. Each part has 60 questions, and each question is worth one mark.
Paper II: This paper is based on the candidate’s postgraduate subject. It has 120 questions, each worth one mark, except for Mathematics and Statistics, which has 80 questions, each worth 1.5 marks.
Kerala SET Application Fee 2024
The application fee for the Kerala SET 2024 is ₹1,000 for General/OBC candidates and ₹500 for SC, ST, or differently-abled candidates.

- Find the “State Eligibility Test July 2024” section on the homepage and click on it.
- If you new, register on the portal. If you already registered, just log in.
- Fill in your personal and academic details as asked, including your name and date of birth.
- Upload a recent photo following the given guidelines, and any required documents.
- Pay the application fee and submit your application.
