Anna Bhagya Scheme Eligibility

To get help from the scheme, you need a BPL card that shows you are eligible. You need to live in Karnataka and be older than 18. You should be poor or have a certain ration card connected to your Aadhaar card. But, if a family member works for the government, you can’t get this help.

Anna Bhagya Scheme Documents Required

To apply for the Anna Bhagya Scheme 2024, you need:

  1. Proof that you live in Karnataka
  2. Your Aadhaar card
  3. A working phone number
  4. Bank details linked to your Aadhaar card

You have to give these documents at your local ration shop.

Apply For Anna Bhagya Scheme

If you have a BPL or Anna Antyodaya/PHH Card, you can get help from this scheme. You don’t need to apply anywhere to get free rice. Just go to your local ration shop with your ration card. There, you use a biometric machine to confirm who you are. The machine will record your family members’ names. The amount of rice you get depends on how many people in your family can get the benefit. All family members who can get the benefit will get rice for free.

How to Check Anna Bhagya Scheme Amount?

  • To see amount, go to the Karnataka Food Department’s website.
  • Click on ‘e-Services’, then ‘e-Status’, and then ‘DBT status’.
  • Pick your district and click on ‘Status of DBT’.
  • Put in the year, month, your ration card number, and the captcha code, then click ‘Go’.
  • You will see the DBT status for the Anna Bhagya scheme on your screen.
