The Karnataka government created the Student Tracking System (STS) to manage student and teacher data, track academic progress, handle administrative tasks, and ensure all students receive their midday meals.

STS Karnataka Objectives

  1. Prevent Record Duplication: Stops fake school records and catches fraudsters.
  2. Online Registration: All school registrations must be done online. No paper applications are accepted. Registration starts annually on November 30th.
  3. Standardized Tuition Fees: Prevents schools from charging excessive fees. Fee structures are available online for parents and guardians.

  • School Services: Online requests for approvals, grant authorizations, accreditation, renewals, and updates on student achievements.
  • Department Services: Approval and renewal of services provided to schools.
  • Employee Services: Online options for school staff to verify their data.
  • Management Information System (MIS): Helps in decision-making by analyzing data from schools.
  • Exam Portal: Online submission of exam-related data and availability of exam materials.

How to Use STS Karnataka

Registration:

  • Visit the STS Karnataka website.
  • Click on the “Registration” tab and select “User Registration.”
  • Complete the form with required details such as name, email ID, role, etc.
  • Submit the form to complete the registration process.

Login:

  • Go to the STS Karnataka website.
  • Click on the “Login” tab and enter your username and password.
  • Enter the captcha code and click “Login” to access your account.

Download School Report Card:

  • Visit the STS Karnataka website.
  • Click on the “School Report Card” tab.
  • Fill in details such as District, Block, School Name, and Academic Year.
  • Click “View Details” to see and download the report card.

Generate Student Forms:

  • Visit the STS Karnataka website.
  • Click on the “Generate Forms” tab.
  • Select the type of form needed and click “Print/Download.”

Check Student Enrollment Details:

  • Log in to the STS Karnataka portal.
  • Go to the “Student Management” tab and click “Enrollment Details.”
  • View details of admissions to different standards, including first standard and higher standards through promotion or transfer certificates.

Check Student Attendance:

  • Log in to the STS Karnataka portal.
  • Go to the “Student Management” section and click “Attendance Details.”
  • Select the required details and click “Search” to view attendance.

View District-wise School/Student Information:

  • Log in to the STS Karnataka portal.
  • Click on the “Dashboard” option to view district-wise data on the number of schools and students.
