RRB Technician Admit Card 2024 Download, Exam Date and Pattern

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is set to release the admit cards for the Technician post. The admit cards for the RRB Technician posts will be available 7 to 10 days before the exam. Candidates must download their admit cards from the official website, rrbapply.gov.in, using their registration number and password. No physical copies will be sent.

Application and Exam Overview:

  • Over 9 lakh candidates applied between March 9 and April 8, 2024, for 9,144 Technician posts in Indian Railways.
  • The Computer Based Test (CBT), the first stage of the selection process, is anticipated to take place in October and November 2024.

Steps to Download the Admit Card:

  1. Visit the official RRB website: rrbapply.gov.in.
  2. Navigate to the “Examination” section.
  3. Click on the “Admit Card” link.
  4. Select the Technician 2024 admit card link.
  5. Enter your registration number and password.
  6. Download and print the admit card.

Details on the Admit Card:

The admit card will contain the following information:

  • Candidate’s Name, Photograph, and Signature
  • Registration Number and Roll Number
  • Date of Birth and Gender
  • Exam Date, Time, and Duration
  • Reporting Time
  • Exam Center Name, Address, and Code
  • Important Exam Instructions

RRB Technician Exam Pattern:

Technician Grade I Signal:

  1. Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)
  2. Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates)
  3. Total Questions: 100
  4. Total Marks: 100
  5. Question Type: Objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
  6. Marking Scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer, -1/3 mark for each wrong answer
  7. Sections:
    • General Awareness: 10 questions, 10 marks
    • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 15 questions, 15 marks
    • Basics of Computers and Applications: 20 questions, 20 marks
    • Mathematics: 20 questions, 20 marks
    • Basic Science and Engineering: 35 questions, 35 marks
  8. Medium: Bilingual (English and Hindi)

Technician Grade III:

  1. Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)
  2. Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates)
  3. Total Questions: 100
  4. Total Marks: 100
  5. Question Type: Objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
